CLE Coordinator

For the Chicago Office of a Boutique Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the coordination of attorney training and development programs and initiatives;
  • Assist with all aspects of the Firm's Continuing Legal Education initiatives, including maintaining CLE database, records and reports to ensure the Firm and its attorneys comply with CLE rules and regulations;
  • Manage relationships with outside CLE vendors, coordinate webcasts and outside program enrollment, promote programs and track program attendance;
  • Research off-site CLE opportunities as requested by Firm attorneys;
  • Serve as an expert in NY, CA, IL, NC, UT and DC rules and regulations and remain current on regulation updates;
  • Assist with all aspects of coordinating CLE events, including room reservations, reproduction of presentation materials and forms and catering orders for meetings.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Professional Development, Recruiting or Human Resources experience;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from data, assess implications and make recommendations;
  • Commitment to client service, professional demeanor and discretion required;
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be an excellent problem-solver and team player;
  • Experience with ViDesktop or other similar CLE software system;
  • IL CLE experience preferred.
