Learning Curriculum Manager

For the New York Office of a Prestigious International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic direction and implementation for attorney training and development initiatives;
  • Manage CLE, litigation and leadership trainings for NY attorneys;
  • Lead a team responsible for curriculum design, coordination organization and maintenance, including web-based training, virtual classrooms and podcasts;
  • Be the first point of contact for attorneys and Knowledge Management Partners in the New York office;
  • Oversee new attorney orientation and integration; oversee the administration of attorney admissions status;
  • Monitor compliance with CLE requirements and oversee CLE accreditation for in-house training programs.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum ten years of progressive experience in learning & development functions, including in-person training, virtual training and facilitation roles;
  • Experience with instructional design and development approaches aimed at delivering engaging learning experiences, including digital learning, virtual classroom learning, instructor-led classroom learning, workplace learning and coaching;
  • Senior level expertise across a variety of instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, adult learning theory and blended learning strategies;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage professionals at all levels of the Firm;
  • Ability to coach, mentor and manage teams directly and indirectly;
  • Experience with survey development that considers audience needs for continuous improvement and with learning measurement that aligns to business strategy.
