Legal Recruiting Specialist

For the New York Office of a Magic Circle Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with members of the Recruitment and Human Resources teams, as well as colleagues in London and Hong Kong, on attorney recruiting needs;
  • Coordinate 1L and 2L summer associate recruitment, as well as entry-level and lateral recruitment;
  • Help plan and manage the summer associate program;
  • Liaise with law schools, recruiters and candidates on a daily basis;
  • Plan and execute recruiting events; on-board new hires.

Qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of legal recruiting experience; bachelor's degree required;
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Self-starter who is reliable, eager for responsibility and able to work independently;
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and multi-task effectively.
