Associate Manager of Attorney Development

For the New York Office of a Highly Regarded Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and develop departmental training programs, boot camps, seminars and workshops;
  • Manage client CLE programs; provide guidance and backup support to Coordinator in monitoring CLE compliance for attorneys Firm-wide;
  • Attend professional development committee meetings and seek opportunities to further the goals and projects identified;
  • Identify and implement new training opportunities; keep apprised of industry developments; identify relevant PD applications from other industries;
  • Serve as core member of New Associate Orientation planning and execution team;
  • Coordinate in-house training programs; draft email announcements to market programs and liaise with other departments on execution.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting professional development programs for lawyers;
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work and educational experience;
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • A demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail;
  • A demonstrated ability and strong desire to work as part of a team in a demanding, client-centered legal services environment.
