Business Development Manager, Real Estate

For the New York Office of a Well-Known Wall Street Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic advice on client expansion and business development initiatives; assist in the crafting and implementation of business plans;
  • Serve as primary strategic advisor for pitches and proposals; assess ROI and collaborate with BD team to ensure on-point responses;
  • Coach individual and small groups of attorneys on business development opportunities, proposals and client meetings; identify new business prospects;
  • Identify marketing opportunities such as events, sponsorships and speaking engagements; research conferences to identify potential speaking engagement opportunities; coordinate execution with marketing team;
  • Ensure consistent collection, categorization and management of relevant attorney experience;
  • Facilitate internal communications about successes and opportunities utilizing internal and external communication vehicles.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of BD experience in a law firm or other professional services firm; bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or other related field;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, InterAction, website management systems and e-marketing software;
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
