For the Chicago Office of a Prestigious International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist attorneys, alumni and clients with the development of relevant self-marketing materials and professional branding documents such as resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, etc;
  • Conduct competency assessments such as the MBTI to aid in perfecting the job search strategy; provide networking guidance;
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to prepare them for interviews and for salary negotiations;
  • Aid in content development for marketing materials highlighting the coaching program and report on relevant metrics to leadership;
  • Research and analyze employment trends, specifically in the legal industry, both nationally and globally;
  • Conduct workshops/webcasts on resume creation, leveraging social media for the job search, interviewing and other job search skills.

Qualifications include:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher/J.D. preferred; coaching certificate desired;
  • Career coaching experience necessary, including executive level coaching;
  • Recruiting or PD experience in a law firm strongly desired;
  • Ability to administer and analyze self-assessments, such as MBTI certification, desired;
  • Excellent written and oral communication, listening, multitasking, and organizational skills.
