Professional Development Coordinator
For the New York Office of a Prestigious Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with performance reviews for attorneys;
- Create the annual review master log and work with Practice Group Coordinators to make sure everyone is included;
- Create Annual Review Timetable to keep everything on schedule; ensure all necessary emails are sent out to Associates, Partners and management committee;
- Work with IT to make sure the review process is well-executed online;
- Create monthly attorney reports for the management committee, update alumni contacts and exit interview responses;
- Review new attorney arrivals chart to update lateral check-in records with NY lateral hires.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree required;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and also collaboratively with other offices and staff;
- Must be able to inspire confidence among Associates and Firm leaders;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel and other sensitive matters;
- Detail oriented with solid Excel skills.
