Professional Development Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with performance reviews for attorneys;
  • Create the annual review master log and work with Practice Group Coordinators to make sure everyone is included;
  • Create Annual Review Timetable to keep everything on schedule; ensure all necessary emails are sent out to Associates, Partners and management committee;
  • Work with IT to make sure the review process is well-executed online;
  • Create monthly attorney reports for the management committee, update alumni contacts and exit interview responses;
  • Review new attorney arrivals chart to update lateral check-in records with NY lateral hires.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and also collaboratively with other offices and staff;
  • Must be able to inspire confidence among Associates and Firm leaders;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel and other sensitive matters;
  • Detail oriented with solid Excel skills.
