Associate Engagement Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Firm’s mentor programs for junior associates, laterals and law students and act as a liaison with partners, practice managers and DEI teams on mentor assignments;
  • Create, plan and implement social and community building events for attorneys by coordinating with conference services, facilities management and outside vendors;
  • Oversee and update the associate engagement intranet page and build professional relationships with NY associates to work to increase the visibility of the associate engagement resources;
  • Implement and report engagement surveys, support the Assistant Director and Global Manager of Engagement in designing programming in response to the survey results;
  • Participate in the NY Associate committee meetings and support the subcommittees in achieving their yearly goals;
  • Manage Firm resources and comply with Firm operations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software and operating systems;
  • Creative and innovative in order to participate in supporting the Associate Engagement team in producing new initiatives;
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational and team skills;
  • Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgment;
