Marketing Technology Specialist

For the New York, D.C., LA or Kansas office of a Large Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop strategies and approaches for data cleansing, enrichment and enhancements; look for process improvements or technology improvements that could enhance the data management process;
  • Conduct ongoing CRM database cleanup and maintenance. Research contacts and companies to update profile information, business addresses, email, and job title;
  • Develop email marketing strategies to ensure messaging is consistent with firm’s brand and marketing objectives; distribute email campaigns; test email deliverability; measure and report on email campaigns;
  • Complete special projects to improve the data integrity of specific marketing lists and contact types, including imports, and data cleansing; provide guidance and best practice to the marketing teams on how to construct mailing lists;
  • Monitor collaboration between systems related to marketing technology to ensure reliability of integrated data; assist with the launch of new software for the team when necessary;
  • Support the marketing and business development team by troubleshooting any technology questions regarding the website, email marketing, proposal tools, and database needs.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of related marketing technology experience in professional services, including prior experience with InterAction or a related CRM;
  • Thorough understanding of InterAction concepts; proficient in email marketing programs such as Concept, ContactNet, Google Analytics and web analytics; familiarity with spam/email blockers and email campaign procedures;
  • Experience advocating for, and implementing new marketing technologies; familiarity with marketing principles;
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading and internet research skills with general knowledge of corporate structures;
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision; excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment.
