Legal Education & Development Specialist
For the Salt Lake City Office of a Prestigious International Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support for events and development programs, including the summer program and fall recruiting;
- Support and coordinate the Utah State Bar New Lawyer Training Program; leverage Utah MCLE guidelines to support mandated CLE mentoring requirements as well as work with the Firmwide team with respect to accreditation measures and process;
- Provide support for lateral attorney integration, including event assistance, coordination of integration efforts, and local lateral onboarding and orientation;
- Work with the Firmwide Associate Review team to coordinate localized annual review processes and related requirements;
- Coordinate attorney office transfers to Salt Lake City, including welcome announcements, office tours, and integration;
- Support the Women’s Leadership Initiative and local and Firmwide diversity events, including liaising with broader Salt Lake City Engagement team on diversity efforts and strategy.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in similar setting, law firm, or professional services strongly preferred;
- High level of collaboration and the ability to work independently;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and offices to achieve results;
- Strong organizational skills including excellent proofing and communication (oral and written) abilities;
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a very strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor;
- Technical experience should include the Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency in Excel required.
