Professional Development and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager

For the New York Office of a Boutique Litigation Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive the Firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and execution in collaboration with firm leadership;
  • Plan, design and implement substantive legal and core skills training programs for summer associates, attorneys, and staff with input from partners, department heads, the COO, and HR;
  • Coach and counsel individual attorneys, partners, and managers;
  • Monitor and manage associate development, career development, and evaluation/feedback processes;
  • Manage all aspects of the 4-6 summer associate program; plan training curriculum, social activities and mentorship opportunities; manage work assignments and performance evaluations;
  • Lead onboarding and orientations for new attorneys and professional staff.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; coaching certification preferred;
  • 5+ years of experience in PD, coaching, and managing performance evaluation programs is required; law firm experience is strongly preferred;
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills;
  • Experience working in a hands-on administrative capacity with Learning Management software;
  • Proficient in creating impactful curriculum and results-focused learning opportunities;
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive approach, and the desire and readiness to build impactful initiatives.
Salary: $180-200k DOE
