Legal Recruiting Coordinator
For the DC Office of a Very Successful IP Boutique FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor incoming candidate sources via email and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS);
- Schedule all screening and full-round interviews for lateral associates, technical specialists, and patent agents;
- Act as a face of the firm by greeting, welcoming, and ushering candidates and other recruiting visitors to the firm; provide in-person tours of the firm’s office space and amenities;
- Complete the hiring process for all new hires: conducting reference calls, running background checks, and following up with the conflicts team on conflicts completion;
- Produce written and visual materials like the Summer Look Book, electronic invitation images for Outlook (for events), welcome signs for new hires, a summer event calendar, and other assorted materials as needed;
- Liaise with the Hospitality team for recruiting event planning and execution; manage logistics for all recruiting events, such as inputting guests in the Visitor Log, completing Setup Request forms, and booking conference rooms.
Qualifications include:
- 1-4 years’ experience in legal recruiting or other professional services recruiting;
- Stellar administrative skills and strength in learning new processes and technologies to help with task efficiency;
- Strong independent proofreading skills;
- Excellent self-organization, verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, and flexibility;
- Must be able to manage workload independently, prioritize accordingly, and solve problems quickly;
- Strong computer and typing skills required, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook scheduling.
