Marketing Specialist

For the Miami Office of a Prestigious International Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Consult with key stakeholders on the development and execution of meaningful strategic business development and marketing initiatives for the region; collaborate with the Global BD team to help align business strategy and cross-collaboration efforts;
  • Research, develop and manage on-point visibility opportunities, such as bespoke client engagement experiences, regional sponsorship opportunities, industry seminars and speaking opportunities;
  • Maintain data in the Firm’s marketing contact relationship management (CRM) database, including targeted client and prospect lists used for client engagement;
  • Produce client-facing proposal materials, responses to RFPs and client presentations, including proofreading, formatting (must have exceptional PowerPoint skills), editing, printing, binding and delivery;
  • Conduct online and database research and prepare intelligence reports on clients, qualified prospects, competitors and industries of interest;
  • Develop clear, concise and compelling messaging and content for use in pitches, attorney resumes and survey and directory submissions.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of related experience in a law firm or professional services environment;
  • Excellent client service orientation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain effective relationships with various levels of personnel, internally and externally, including existing and potential clients;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute a wide variety of client engagement experiences;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and execute a diverse range of tasks with a high level of attention to detail;
  • Ability to take initiative, adapt to change and work independently in high-pressure, deadline-driven scenarios while exercising sound judgment and making intelligent, informed decisions;
  • Ability to thrive in an electronic environment and utilize technology to deliver information; proficiency in methods of information acquisition, including the use of online information databases, tools and resources.
