Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with scheduling for candidate interviews, manage travel, reserve conference rooms, and greet candidates; this includes securing the requisite internal interviewers, developing and circulating candidate briefing materials to interviewers, and collec
  • Partner with the Director of Lateral Partner Recruiting to develop and implement lateral partner integration plans for new partners;
  • Track and maintain search firm fee agreements and process search invoices;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data tracking across various platforms including internal spreadsheets and ViRecruit;
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings with partners, recruiting committees and external search firms as requested;
  • Liaise with local office and other administrative contacts to ensure pre-arrival orientation items and lateral onboarding processes are completed; prepare in-depth orientation schedules for new partners and partners with respective teams to ensure success

Qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of attorney recruiting experience (preferably in a large law firm environment) or professional services experience;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Superior technical skills and the ability to consider and analyze data and how it can be best utilized for the firm’s talent development efforts;
  • Sound judgment, the ability to ensure confidentiality at all times, and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with internal and external contacts on all levels;
  • Experience with ViRecruit and Workday or other applicant tracking system is strongly preferred.
Salary: $70k-$80k
