Events Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Large Prestigious Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversees and maintains events database. Tracks all attorney speaking engagements ensuring all requirements of the engagement are met, such as submission of bio and headshot, creation and submission of ad, posting to website, creation of client announcemen
  • Responsible for event registration process. This involves registration page implementation, managing the events email inbox and phone line, tracking all RSVPs and onsite event registration (including coordination of hardware and software with IT);
  • Manages events section on website, including posting all programs, sponsored events and attorney speaking engagements;
  • Provides significant assistance to the Marketing Events Manager on all client programs including CLE seminars and other educational programs, practice-specific conferences, client entertainment and other events as identified. Support activities include cr
  • Contributes to best practices, systems and processes to further the overall effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activities and client events;
  • Works closely with the Marketing Events Manager and Director on the identification and analysis of new marketing opportunities for the firm related to sponsorships, speaking opportunities and industry association memberships.
  • - Bachelor's Degree Required;
  • - 1-2 years of experience in a professional services environment;
  • - Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and presentation. Solid writing and oral communication skills. Fundamental skills in MS Office suite of products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with InterAction or other
  • - A professional demeanor while maintaining the ability to multitask. Ability to work with the firm’s lawyers, frequently under tight deadlines and with the highest of expectations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on certain projects,
