Marketing Specialist

For the New York office of a Prestigious International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide lawyers and BD analysts with guidance on directory strategies and lead the submission process by establishing the format, style and content; Drafting the directory responses, creation of internal communication and updating publications;
  • Managing the relationship with the publication and managing the project internally to meet all deadlines for submission, including follow-up partner interviews;
  • Tracks the outcomes for Firm rankings and makes recommendations for and leveraging positive references to the Firm, its lawyers, and practices across the range of business development materials (web site, print and new media channels);
  • Proactive analysis of the legal industry rankings, coupled with development of action items to optimize the Firm’s standings;
  • Responsible for collaborating with the CRM team to manage the client references database, ensuring frequency of use is appropriate.
  • - B.A. or equivalent required;
  • - Excellent research, writing/editing, proofreading and grammar skills. Outstanding communication skills;
  • - Excellent analytical, organizational, research and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail;
  • - Proficiency in standard office computing applications and databases. Current experience with new media is a plus.
