Regional Marketing Manager

For the San Francisco Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Works with the Chief Marketing Officer in coordination with the full resources of the Firm's Marketing Department to provide local business development and marketing support for individual attorneys, teams and practice groups in the West Coast offices;
  • a primary focus on indentifying and supporting the BD needs of the attorneys in the offices including but not limited to pitch and RFP development; assisting with the coordination of marketing and business development activity within and across practices;
  • providing planning and implementation support for strategic marketing initiatives, events and business development initiatives within the markets where we have offices;
  • working with the Marketing Media team on profile building activity for the Firm and attorneys in our markets, etc.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Masters or J.D. degree useful; 7+ years of related experience;
  • Significant experience in the proactive and reactive support of the business development process in the legal industry required;
  • Strong understanding of the legal market in SF/SV and LA;
  • Experience with key research tools and databases, including experience, billing, client contacts and other web based research tools;
  • Persuasive writing skills for presentations, proposals and other marketing materials;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands while meeting strict deadlines; strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
