Litigation Business Development Content Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Very Prestigious Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Litigation Content Specialist in creating and maintaining a comprehensive calendar of survey, directory and award submission due dates for the Firm’s Litigation Department;
  • Aiding in identifying key deadlines and procedures for submissions;
  • Providing support in setting up Litigation Partner interviews and tracking client references for the various submissions;
  • Organizing and maintaining the ranking results database for purposes of analysis and Partner reporting;
  • Maintaining a collection of prior litigation submissions to surveys, directories and other publications;
  • Overseeing knowledge management of all submission activities.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, English or Communications; a minimum commitment of 2 years to the position; at least 2 years of office work experience preferably in a law firm or other professional service firm;
  • Knowledge of litigation practice areas such as securities, antitrust and intellectual property preferred;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; exceptional editing and proofreading skills;
  • An extremely detail-oriented work manner; strong organizational skills;
  • The ability to work well under pressure and complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner;
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high standard of judgment and discretion.
