PR / Communications Coordinator

For the New York office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitates a smooth workflow, collaborating with all contributors to the development of collateral, and supporting the timely and cost-efficient production and distribution of our collateral;
  • Works with the Communications team and other marketers to determine daily needs and priorities and provides follow up regarding project content, deadlines and delivery;
  • Maintains systems for tracking graphic design projects, print-related expenditures, contracts, inventory and other trafficking functions, including the maintenance of the project status list through Marketing Requester and compilation of weekly “Hot List”
  • Tracks and analyzes press coverage and develops quarterly ROI reports to share with management and PR team;
  • Creates press kits and coordinates media briefings and other thought leadership interviews for PR team;
  • Creates media lists and researches potential media outlets and other opportunities as requested by team members.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree required;
  • 2+ years of administration in a creative environment; agency experience in production or traffic management preferred;
  • Excellent writing skills required;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Quark, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes.
