Talent Management Senior Coordinator

For the DC Office of a National Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage recruiting, office summer associate programs, initiatives and activities; reconcile related budgets;
  • Utilize the department-specific database to analyze trends, generate statistical and informational reports, and develop recommendations to resolve challenges reflected in the data;
  • Manage and implement Firmwide and local training, development and Talent Management activities;
  • Implement the Associate Orientation and Integration Program; Coordinate onboarding;
  • Support local diversity events and activities;
  • Manage the workflow and priorities of one or more staff members; Supervise their performance and set goals, ensure their continuous professional development.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent international degree (required);
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a professional coordination role;
  • Supervisory experience; Experience in a law firm or in law school recruiting and administration, as well as knowledge of local legal market (preferred);
  • Knowledge of legal education, career development and attorney development practices and philosophies;
  • Knowledge of legal recruiting, attorney development, human resources and administrative policies and procedures;
  • Advanced-level written and verbal communication skills; Advanced-level Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
