Professional Development Administrator

For the New York Office of a Prestigious International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the associate review process, including assisting with drafting comments, preparing reports on annual reviews and managing the process;
  • Prepare materials for associate committee meetings;
  • Monitor associate development and provide advice on relevant staffing issues to the Litigation, Bankruptcy, ERISA and Real Estate staffing partners;
  • Organize and lead Litigation, Bankruptcy, ERISA and Real Estate staffing and mentor meetings and ensure that relevant information reaches the appropriate people and resources;
  • Maintain and update Attorney Work Report and Staffing Portal databases and meet with IT as appropriate.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of Professional Development or HR experience in a fast paced environment;
  • Experience working with employees at all levels including senior managers;
  • Excellent interpersonal, client service, and written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Exercises good judgment, has excellent organization skills, and strong attention to detail;
  • Proactive team player capable of self management and oversight of more junior team members.
