BD Manager - Transactional
For the New York Office of a Prestigious Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Business Development Director and other members of the management team to develop and implement strategic BD/Marketing plans and initiatives for the Transactional group;
- Support the Transactional group to achieve business and client development goals;
- Ability to manage start to finish RFP, pitches, and proposals process;
- Research and analyze industry and market trends to find new business opportunities;
- Assist in implementation of group and personal partner plans.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree, 7+ years of experience in a successful BD or marketing role in a professional services environment, legal transactional experience a plus;
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization;
- Well organized with a meticulous attention to detail, experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to work with time-sensitive, confidential matters;
- A pro-active and outgoing personality, coupled with a strong customer service attitude, and the driven attitude and energy to use a
- Proficient in a range of computer software applications, including databases, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
