BD Manager - Transactional

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist Business Development Director and other members of the management team to develop and implement strategic BD/Marketing plans and initiatives for the Transactional group;
  • Support the Transactional group to achieve business and client development goals;
  • Ability to manage start to finish RFP, pitches, and proposals process;
  • Research and analyze industry and market trends to find new business opportunities;
  • Assist in implementation of group and personal partner plans.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree, 7+ years of experience in a successful BD or marketing role in a professional services environment, legal transactional experience a plus;
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization;
  • Well organized with a meticulous attention to detail, experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to work with time-sensitive, confidential matters;
  • A pro-active and outgoing personality, coupled with a strong customer service attitude, and the driven attitude and energy to use a
  • Proficient in a range of computer software applications, including databases, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
