Marketing and BD Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Litigation Boutique Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare presentations, pitches, and proposals for prospective and existing clients;
  • Manage the Firm's social media initiatives, including client alerts, the Firm's blog, and LinkedIn/Twitter accounts;
  • Conduct research on industry and market trends to develop marketing plans, and maintain the Firm's database; ensure all information is accurate, up to date, and properly catalogued;
  • Assist with select profile and directory submissions for various legal publications and industry ranking guides (e.g., Chambers, Benchmark Litigation, Legal 500);
  • Coordinate Firm-related events, including charitable tables, CLEs, speaking engagement, sponsorships, and act as on-site host; liaise with consultants and outside vendors on a regular basis;
  • Manage website updates for practice descriptions, attorney bios, rankings, events, etc.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's required; Marketing or Finance major preferred; advanced degree a plus;
  • Possess a solid understanding of social media networking channels;
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with all levels of personnel;
  • Able to synthesize information into practice group marketing content for pitches, website, and brochures;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments, work well under pressure and complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with InterAction, or other CRM program and legal-research databases.
