Recruiting Specialist - Healthcare Group

For the New York Office of a Well-Respected Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate all aspects of national recruiting for the Firm's Healthcare practice group, for both legal talent and healthcare consultants (entry level and experienced candidates);
  • Create and implement year-round recruiting/sourcing strategy and approach, working with the Senior Manager of Recruiting and the Healthcare Practice Manager;
  • Coordinate all aspects of the recruiting process, including: drafting job postings, sourcing candidates, phone interviews, candidate scheduling, coordinating evaluation process, maintaining recruitment database, and coordinating onboarding;
  • Build and maintain relationships with career services at key schools and coordinate recruiting events;
  • Serve as point person for all candidates during the interview and offer process, including communicating key information and updates both to the candidate and to the Healthcare team;
  • Work with marketing to create practice group specific materials for recruiting purposes.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of recruiting experience in a professional environment (legal/healthcare/consulting background preferred);
  • Substantive knowledge of recruiting strategies, including the use of online job boards, LinkedIn and other social media and resume search software;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill to interact with all levels of management and staff and be a team player;
  • Demonstrate high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Excellent organizational and writing skills;
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities.
