BD Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Global Litigation Boutique Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the BD Managers with the implementation of strategies, plans, and projects for respective practice groups;
  • Write, edit and update the firm's marketing materials, such as attorney biographies, pitches and proposals, general brochures, and prospective client presentations;
  • Perform competitive intelligence research to aid in the development of marketing plans, presentations, and proposals;
  • Manage submissions for key legal directories;
  • Assist attorneys with the creation and implementation of individual business plans to drive their BD goals as well as identify new opportunities that may broaden their network;
  • Provide administrative support, including charting and prioritizing short and long-term deadlines, maintaining calendars, updating contacts, etc.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field strongly preferred; 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a professional services organization or equivalent corporate environment;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including copy editing, researching, and managing data;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritize accordingly and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with CRM software is preferred.
