BD & Marketing Specialist

For the Philadelphia Office of a National Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

• Create client-focused pitch materials, brochures and other collateral that meet attorney specifications; organize and participate in team strategy calls for client proposal responses;
• Stay well-informed about client development targets and conduct research in order to provide competitive intelligence; create development activity reports;
• Manage office or practice team events/conferences including establishing and managing budget, site selection, invitation process, event logistics, site set-up, CLE planning, and post event follow-up;
• Maintain experience management system and league table reporting, which may involve data analysis, attorney interviews, research, coordination with outside publishers, and timely submission to ensure the Firm is credited for all relevant work;
• Oversee attorney lateral hire marketing integration to ensure all steps are executed in a timely manner, including bio creation and posting, Firm photo, press release, etc.;
• Orchestrate sponsorship/membership opportunities; respond to requests and questions from lawyers, administrative staff, and vendors and follow-through to ensure needs are met.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; law firm experience highly desirable;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff at all levels;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a tolerance for uncertainty; ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision;
• Proven ability to manage major projects, coordinating the use of department resources and involving senior management;
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; proficiency in Adobe InDesign or other graphic software a plus, as well as interactive marketing experience.
