Digital Communications Manager

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implement the Firm's digital strategy, and build and maintain a social media presence; stay abreast of emerging technologies/ best practices to keep the Firm at the forefront of developments in digital marketing;
  • Manage and enhance the external website with content that showcases the Firm's expertise; regularly review internal policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulation;
  • Develop and maintain online content guidelines and content governance structure for various digital channels; manage the content on all social media channels;
  • Provide editorial support to internal teams; write, edit and re-purpose content; ensure all content and tools are optimized for search and that it adheres to the Firm's visual identity;
  • Plan and execute all digital campaigns and activities; ensure effective integration of digital channels into marketing campaign design, including advice on best use of social media and online tools;
  • Provide advice to internal teams on digital marketing and tools; lead digital training worldwide; measure and report performance of all content marketing campaigns and use analytics to monitor success of overall activity.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degee; 5+ years of experience in digital communications, including demonstrated success in developing and managing digital campaigns;
  • Ability to proactively identify digital communications opportunities in collaboration with marketing and BD teams worldwide; strong grasp of SEO techniques and best practice;
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communications skills with confidence and ability to interact with Partners, senior lawyers, and staff at all levels;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; proven project management skills; experience with changing priorities in a fast-paces environment;
  • Experience working in an international business, ideally with a mix of in-house and digital agency experience.
