Manager of Marketing Services

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the daily operations of the Marketing Services team, including supporting the overall Firm strategy, brand identity, graphics, marketing collateral, website management and reporting, client and attorney relationship management, etc.;
  • Develop, manage and motivate the team; ensure collaboration within the department and with the Firm's practices; clarify direction, encourage quality standards, carry out performance evaluations, provide regular feedback and develop training programs;
  • Ensure internal and external communications align with the Firm's brand identity; integrate a global image for the Firm brand and tailor brand to address market/cultural needs and sensitivities; ensure brand is consistent and clear;
  • Maintain and promote the Firm's online presence; account for overall website maintenance, online tracking, reporting and visibility enhancement initiatives; review competitors' brand and keep department updated on new technologies;
  • Support the advancements to the experience database, including assessing best practices and integrations with the Firm's other systems to create a powerful BD tool; review and update the CRM system; oversee quality control of data;
  • Manage contracts and relationships with outside vendors; ensure that projects remain on budget and that each project is managed to a clear timetable; act as an ambassador with other departments to ensure understanding across departments.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree; 5+ years of CRM and branding experience and 3+ years of staff management in large professional services; Marketing Services/Operations experience preferred;
  • Must have strong attention to detail; ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, professional level staff, and peers;
  • Ability to act in a professional manner at all times, to act with a high degree of integrity and maintain confidentiality;
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments, work under pressure with interruptions and tight deadlines and to effectively collaborate and develop consensus with peers; must be versatile;
  • Must demonstrate a solid understanding of branding, brand management, project management, database oversight and knowledge of system integrations, and graphic design;
  • Experienced with Office Suite required; database knowledge preferred; full array of graphic design technology and software preferred.
