Business Development & Marketing Assistant

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in drafting and implementing business and marketing plans; help as needed with directory submissions, league tables and awards;
  • Support the BD Specialist in working on pitches and credentials statements, covering the entire process including document preparation, presentation rehearsals and post pitch feedback;
  • Assist with necessary processes when preparing Partners ahead of client/prospect meetings; assist in drafting and updating marketing materials, including web content and other collateral;
  • Assist in all areas of planning and coordinating events and conference attendances to develop/maintain market positions and generate leads for the Partners;
  • Ensure credentials and other relevant marketing information of attorneys are up to date and readily accessible in central databases;
  • Assist in raising the profile of the Partners/practice via various communication channels including social media and the website.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree; relevant internship experience in professional services marketing;
  • Demonstrates a
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent writing, editing and presentation skills;
  • The ability to understand product and service development issues;
  • Tenacity to see projects and tasks through to completion;
  • Strong attention to detail.
