CLE and Attorney Training Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Prestigious, Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Firm's training programs for attorneys, including practice group specific training, firm wide programs, first-year associate and summer associate orientation, and all other attorney professional development programs;
  • Coordinate the logistics of training programs, including reserving conference rooms, communicating with presenters, sending program invitations, monitoring RSVPs, and preparing materials and attendance sheets;
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department to ensure that all in-house CLE programs are compliant with CLE regulations;
  • Update and input data into Micron CE Manager, including: adding CLE programs, giving CLE credit for in-house programs, entering CLE credit for external programs, activating and deactivating attorney accounts;
  • Ensure attorneys remain in good standing with their individual CLE compliance status by responding to attorney inquiries in a timely manner, filing extension requests and registering attorneys for external CLE programs.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in a large law firm;
  • Knowledge of New York CLE rules and regulations;
  • Desire to work as part of a collaborative team;
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with attorneys and business department staff at all levels;
  • Excellent written, organizational, and communication skills, flexibility to work extended hours as needed;
  • Experience using Micron CE Manager, Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
