Marketing Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Very Successful Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Organize and support firm-sponsored events, including seminars, conferences and receptions for clients and prospective clients in New York and Boston;
  • Draft, edit and maintain marketing collateral for the office as needed, including lawyer biographies and practice descriptions; drafts news items for firm website, intranet and internal communications;
  • Liaise with lawyers to produce and distribute client communications, including new lawyer announcements, invitations, etc.;
  • Help identify relevant state/regional speaking and other credentialing opportunities for our lawyers, and assist in the production of required presentation materials;
  • Work with the InterAction database (contact management system) to document and track all client and prospective client outreach.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or marketing; 2+ years experience in marketing, communications or event planning; legal or professional services marketing experience preferred;
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; preferred knowledge of InterAction database, Vuture and document management systems; proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop preferred;
  • Demonstrated writing, editing and proofreading skills;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; works harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong client service ethic.
