Alumni Relations Assistant

For the New York Office of a Premier International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain list of alumni interview candidates and list of potential Alumni speakers; track alumni client updates and business referrals; create and maintain Google Alerts for alumni;
  • Maintain alumni website, including: drafting content, posting job opportunities and other relevant content;
  • Provide alumni event support, including: assisting with logistical event details and inputting post-event information into database;
  • Provide primary support in accurately recording and tracking departmental expenses;
  • Maintain alumni database with up to date contact information and perform targeted alumni searches.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 1+ years of experience (can include internship, externship or fellowship);
  • Strong writing and communication skills; excellent organizational skills;
  • Professional demeanor and emotional intelligence; discretion in handling sensitive material;
  • Ability to organize projects and to follow through to completion; ability to work independently and as member of a team;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint;
  • In depth knowledge of NYC culture and restaurants to assist in event planning.
