Sr. BD & Marketing Specialist - Securities

For the Washington DC office of an Economic Consulting Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct research, and create concise reports that highlight and summarize relevant facts related to clients, targets, industries and trends;
• Draft, maintain and update consultant biographies, practice descriptions, and other practice collateral and data;
• Coordinate logistics related to practice events, speaking engagements, internal client seminars, sponsorship opportunities and related event meals; assist in the production of large scale NERA sponsored conferences;
• Create and maintain client contact information, and build targeted mailing lists;
• Serve as liaison for requests from practice for support from the PR, CRM, copyediting, and design teams;
• Be an active and collegial member of the international marketing team, both leading and participating in other departmental and firm-wide projects.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing/Communications, Business or other relevant degree and/or field;
• 4+ years of relevant marketing experience at a law firm is preferred;
• Knowledge of the ways in which economic analysis plays a pivotal role in financial, legal, and regulatory matters;
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the drive to bring projects to completion;
• Ability to interact diplomatically and work effectively with all constituencies, including senior-level management, marketing team members, and outside vendors;
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, CRM and other marketing tools.
