Legal Personnel Manager - Corporate

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist assigning partners and Corporate Department Legal Personnel Director with associate staffing and workflow;
  • Assist in tracking, monitoring and reporting for the Corporate Department;
  • Coordinate departmental and practice group meetings and special events for the Corporate Department;
  • Assist the Corporate Department Legal Personnel Director with various other administrative duties;
  • Liaise with recruiting, professional development, business development and finance departments in furtherance of the above.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree required, J.D. a plus; 3+ years of law firm experience;
  • Proficient in Word and Excel, Lotus Notes a plus;
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written;
  • Highly developed organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment;
  • Creativity in developing solutions and achieving results.
