Senior Manager, Attorney Resources & Recruitment - East Coast

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the attorney recruitment and resource functions for the Eastern region; responsible for the New York, Washington, D.C. and Charlotte offices;
  • Provide leadership and management for law student recruiting, summer associate program planning and lateral attorney recruiting;
  • Provide support for national hiring, marketing communications and diversity initiatives, including development and production of recruiting materials, research gathering and maintaining competitive data;
  • Manage the robust orientation, onboarding and integration process for lateral attorneys and entry level associates;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with law school career services and search firm contacts to facilitate and support the Firm's recruiting efforts;
  • Prepare and maintain an annual recruiting budget.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree; 7+ years experience of law firm recruiting required;
  • Experience supervising two or more support personnel is preferred; experience managing multiple office locations preferred;
  • Thorough knowledge of NALP and industry-wide legal recruiting practices and standards as well as a familiarity with attorney development and training;
  • Proficiency with LawCruit, ViDesktop, MS Word and MS Excel;
  • Ability to travel between offices as necessary;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
