Regional BD Manager
For the New York Office of a National Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Serve as the proactive catalyst, resource and point-of-contact for lawyers and staff in the New York office for the Firm's business development activities;
- Work with office leadership to develop an annual business plan and corresponding budget; develop strategies focusing on business base growth and drive the execution of those efforts in the office, as well as assisting in budget management;
- Conduct research and analysis to enhance understanding of the market and opportunities, as well as support client development;
- Support office Client Service Teams to maintain existing relationships, develop opportunities for new business opportunities and ensure client satisfaction;
- Assist lawyers with proposals and all supporting activities related to business development outreach in the office;
- Identify and facilitate promotional opportunities including public speaking, publishing, newsworthy topics, events, sponsorships, etc.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing;
- At least four years applicable experience;
- Legal industry or professional services marketing and business development experience a plus;
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize and multitask, and work collaboratively across the organization.
