Business Development Manager for Regulatory & Business Groups
For the Washington D.C. Office of a National Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare RFP's, RFI's and new business proposals;
- Prepare client presentation materials for pitch meetings;
- Provide competitive intelligence research on prospective new clients, industry and market trends;
- Draft marketing materials including case-success summaries, practice and industry descriptions, event invites, advertising materials and other external print and website content;
- Collaborate with the Communications Manager to create opportunities for public relations, article placement and other attorney publications, as well as client alerts;
Qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications or related field. MBA a plus;
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience in a legal or professional services marketing position;
- Sophisticated verbal and written communication skills plus exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to proof materials under tight time constraints;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and operate as both an individual contributor and team member;
