Business Development & Marketing Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Mid-Sized National Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • General marketing and business development support; provide day-to-day support to the other members of the marketing department, including the Director, two Managers, Specialist, and Senior Coordinator;
  • Track pitches, proposals, presentations and RFPs in marketing databases;
  • Provide support for firm business development-related events, including client seminars, client receptions, political events, and internal programs as required;
  • Maintain and track marketing collateral and promotional item inventory;
  • Maintain mailing lists, keep website bios and news items up-to-date and help keep marketing materials current.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 1-2+ years business development/marketing experience at a law firm or other professional services firm;
  • Strong organizational skills, including an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, be accountable and work quickly and efficiently under pressure;
  • Strong knack for and interest in learning new technology and figuring out better ways to use existing technology, from Excel and PowerPoint to our existing content management system;
  • Strong writing, proofreading and communication skills;
  • Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Also helpful: Adobe software including InDesign and Photoshop, website content management software, client relationship management software, HTML and research tools including Bloomberg
