HRIS Specialist
For the New York Office of a Very Prestigious Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the functional aspects of the comprehensive payroll and HRIS platform for partners and employees;
- Maintain Partner and employee data, troubleshoot programming and functionality issues on all HR platforms, and conduct regular audits of data input to ensure accuracy across systems;
- Provide technical solutions to regulatory and business requirements, including testing and liaising with internal and external support for all HR platforms;
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure that all information is accurately captured in our systems;
- Prepare and provide information on employee demographics including, but not limited to, monthly headcount reports;
- Oversee all annual notices, maintain Confidentiality Affirmations for partners and employees as well • Oversee all annual notices, maintain Confidentiality Affirmations for partners and employees as well as temporary employees/consultants. as temporary
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years Human Resources or equivalent experience in office administration and 3+ years experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday;
- Knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resources administration;
- Knowledge of human resources information systems and basic database maintenance concepts;
- Detail-oriented, skilled in performing accurate data entry, able to work independently and collaboratively, and ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks efficiently and effectively and complete them under time constraints;
- Ability to diplomatically and tactfully deal with sensitive personnel issues;
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with courtesy and tact.
