BD Manager - LatAm

For the New York or Miami Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide business development and marketing support to partners in the Latin America transactional practices;
  • Provide concrete, actionable ideas and robust advice that impact business development efforts;
  • Identify new business opportunities; drive the implementation of business plans and identify cross-selling opportunities;
  • Oversee the collection of competitor intelligence to ensure proper differentiation and positioning of the Firm's expertise;
  • Manage and provide strategic input for key pitches, RFPs and submissions related to the Latin America transactional practices;
  • Work with the Firm's Communications team to proactively suggest ideas to improve the profile and positioning of the Latin America practices.

Qualifications include:

  • 6+ years of BD Experience; LatAm background;
  • Strong research and writing skills;
  • Ability to work with and influence Partners;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet frequent deadlines, interact with all levels of lawyers and staff and be a self-starter;
  • Fluency in Spanish at a native speaker level.
