Marketing & BD Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Boutique Litigation Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and update targeting marketing lists, CRM database information and ensure that all marketing database contains current and accurate information;
  • Assist in the execution of select research projects, such as research on market trends, clients, prospects and help prepare research reports as requested;
  • Assist in the preparation, assembling and submission of pitch materials and RFP responses;
  • Provide comprehensive support for events, sponsorships, including developing invitation lists, assembling materials for events, managing vendors and attending events and being accessible to guests and Firm staff as needed;
  • Assist with drafting content, producing and disseminating marketing-related promotional and client material, including the Firm's external website, brochures, reprints, newsletters and client updates, Firm announcements and similar communications;
  • Manage and maintain annual budget for the group.

Qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably at a large law firm;
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business or a related field;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word Suite and CRM systems; HTML experience for website and email blast distributions;
  • Experience using online social media tools in a professional setting, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and blogging;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, as a well as strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines.
