Manager of Executive Assistants

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Management Consulting Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the Executive Assistant Support function including continuously refining the processes and workflow; oversee team member assignments and the professional development for team members;
  • Deliver a high level of support for all Partners and clients, providing excellent customer service and management of the daily operations;
  • Develop plans for workflow, forecast future demand and drive performance excellence;
  • Develop trust-based professional relationships with the team members as well as the Partners to ensure understanding of priorities so that expectations are exceeded;
  • Ensure team members receive timely and appropriate feedback; provide training opportunities to build skills and address any development opportunities.

Qualifications include:

  • 8+ years of managerial experience in a professional services firm;
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA or other professional degree preferred;
  • Proactive initiative taker, resourceful problem solver with strong decision making capabilities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels; strong influencing capabilities;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, strong project management skills to lead and structure thinking and work;
  • Ability to lead teams; team player; flexibility and ability to build consensus.
