CLE Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Large, Prestigious Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain records, reports, and files to ensure the Firm and attorneys remain in good standing with the NYS Bar; provide program and accreditation support for lawyer training sessions;
  • Work closely with the PD Manager on training and presenting material to attorneys; assist with research, reports, data collection, and special PD projects as directed;
  • Stay up-to-date on CLE regulations and ensure Firm meets the applicable requirements; respond to questions regarding the CLE process, regulations, and compliance; maintain CLE-related content, files, and tracking data;
  • Coordinate setup and logistics for the Firm's training programs, including preparing invitations, reserving conference space, coordinating AV and IT needs, and on-site support as needed;
  • Coordinate attendance and enrollment in external CLE programs as well as logistics for webcasts by external CLE providers; maintain and track the training budget and expenses;
  • Prepare the submission of mandatory CLE reports to maintain accredited provider status in New York; prepare and coordinate requests for CLE approval outside of NYS.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in a law firm;
  • Working knowledge of Micron CE Manager;
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and writing skills.
