Legal Recruiting Manager
For the New York Office of an International Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage all aspects of attorney recruitment including lateral and new attorney hiring;
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with search firms and recruiters; work with Practice Group leaders to determine hiring needs;
- Lead summer associate hiring process by scheduling on-campus interviews, forming relationships with law schools, arranging student callback interviews and maintaining candidate files;
- Develop and maintain NYC annual recruiting budget; track current law firm salary and market trends;
- Work closely with Director of Administration and participate as a member of the NYC Management Team;
- Participate in firm-wide recruiting initiatives.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree required, JD preferred;
- 4+ years of experience in legal recruitment or placement preferred;
- Experience with lateral associate recruitment required;
- Ability to communicate well with applicants, attorneys, administrative staff, outside vendors and contacts; excellent written and verbal communications;
- Supervisory experience preferred;
- Familiarity with the legal recruiting market in New York.
