US Head of BD & MarketingFor the New York Office of a Global Law Firm
- Establish US-focused marketing and business development plan and budget;
- Develop best practices for delivering marketing and BD support, including pitches and marketing pieces;x
- Be a source of advice, expertise and coaching for attorneys;
- Work with partners on the development of their individual business plans that target key clients, and identify opportunities for cross-selling across geography and practice groups;
- Implement branding strategies and evaluate external PR initiatives and strategic client events, ensuring a cohesive brand identity;
- Manage and develop a team of 15.
- 10+ years of related experience in a law firm environment;
- Charismatic, dynamic and confident leader of people and ideas, who is highly adaptable and nimble in their approach;
- Hands-on, yet strategic;
- Takes the lead on key projects – whether strategic or day-to-day – and is responsible for their success or failure, learning from the latter;
- A global mindset, with an understanding of the balance between local business need and being a global firm;
- Passionate about managing and developing team members.
