Senior Career Development Manager

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement new career development programming including workshops and conferences that align with associate needs and interests;
  • Remain up-to-date on training and programming trends and developments in legal and professional services industries in order to inform and develop innovative and dynamic career development programs;
  • Collaborate with professional development and training team members to develop programs and workshops;
  • Implement project management tools and processes to host innovative programs for attorneys;
  • Work with legal personnel and pro bono to encourage opportunities, track experiences and develop programing that best addresses associate needs;
  • Utilize technology to deliver best in class career development programs for associates;

Qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of professional development experience; JD is a plus;
  • Familiar with associate growth and development opportunities in law practice;
  • Strong interpersonal and judgement skills;
  • Ability to work effectively with attorneys and staff throughout the firm on program development and delivery;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral;
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in writing and editing.
