Lateral Legal Recruiting Coordinator

For the Redwood City Office of a Global Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and drive the lateral associate recruitment efforts for the California and Texas offices, collaborating with the hiring partners;
  • Schedule interviews, organize candidate and recruiter correspondence, prepare offer letters and conduct candidate follow-up;
  • Create and maintain market analyses for various associate recruitment needs;
  • Review candidate materials and coordinate the lateral interview process; analyze data and metrics for all aspects of the lateral recruitment process;
  • Track and coordinate outreach efforts to external recruiters in order to further develop and strengthen existing relationships;
  • Communicate with associates to bolster knowledge of recruiting needs in order to identify and source internal referrals.

Qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm or tech company;
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communicational skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing competing demands and meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment;
  • Use of good judgement and discretion;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
