Capital Markets BD Marketing Manager
For the New York Office of a Prestigious International Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Consult with key attorney stakeholders in the capital markets practice on the development, execution and tracking of meaningful internal and external strategic business development and marketing initiatives;
- Monitor and analyze market trends relevant to the Capital Markets and the firm’s client base to identify general and client-specific opportunities for value-add services, including building a library of key market and competitor intelligence data;
- Collaborate with business development colleagues across the Firm’s core practice groups to identify cross-selling opportunities, and align and leverage business strategies to maximize results;
- Oversee brand-building strategies for events, including client-facing Firm-hosted events to promote the Capital Markets practice; work alongside the Firm’s broader transactional business development and public relations/communications teams to develop cl
- Collaborate with Capital Markets leads on client-facing proposals and responses to RFPs, including conducting general and client-specific research to develop new content and bespoke pitches/presentations, as well as arranging existing content to maximize
- Track and analyze ROI on all initiatives and outreach, including direct follow-up with attorneys to capture results and feedback to develop best practices.
Qualifications include:
- 7+ years of experience within professional services with proven business development, client development or marketing experience is required; 4-year degree required;
- Experience working in legal, financial services and/or securities industries is highly desirable;
- Background in business intelligence, target research and client prospecting; experience with various market intelligence and research platforms, including CapIQ, Deal Point Data, Intelligize, Refinitiv, Bloomberg, Mergermarket, and Pitchbook is preferred;
- Exceptional communication skills, including an innate ability to communicate with the stakeholders on overall efforts, progress, and results;
- A solid command of several different software applications to produce high-end, professional work products, including extensive experience in PowerPoint and Excel;
- Experience with Content Pilot, InterAction, or an equivalent Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system is a plus.
