ESG Project Specialist

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

• Review and assess clients’ ESG programs against industry, peer and market best practices;
• Identify gaps in existing client ESG programs and develop actionable improvement plans;
• Support project delivery leads in managing the communication and internal coordination of client projects while tracking project performance using KPIs, metrics, tools, and techniques;
• Generate long- and short-term project plans: setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources;
• Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities across multiple projects;
• Assist in the de?nition of client engagement scope and goals.

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of professional service experience, with at least 3 years of experience working in ESG;
• Bachelor's degree required;
• Previous experience leading complex projects for a strategic consulting business;
• Knowledge of various project management methodologies;
• Expertise in Sustainability & ESG, including an understanding of international frameworks/standards including PRI, SASB, etc.;
• Expertise in Excel, data visualization tools, and presentation software such as PowerPoint GANTT.
