Attorney Engagement Manager

For the Chicago Office of a Prestigious International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute initiatives and programming to support the connection, morale and retention of the Firm’s in-office and remote attorneys;
  • Develop and implement new hire and lateral integration programs to effectively integrate and support new attorneys;
  • Administer and maintain engagement policies, operational procedures, and practices consistent with the goals and objectives of the Firm and the office;
  • Support the Attorney Recruiting team during the summer program and fall recruiting;
  • Monitor attorney utilization and collaborate with partners to ensure appropriate workflow and professional development opportunities;
  • Administer and maintain a robust internal mentoring program.

Qualifications include:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in a similar setting; law firm or professional services strongly preferred; bachelor’s degree required;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills including excellent oral and written abilities;
  • Project management and analytical skills;
  • The ability to work effectively with all levels of management, senior level professionals and partners, and across all Firm departments and offices.
